About Me

I am Jessica Johnson-Cope, President and CEO of Johnson Security Bureau, a third-generation family-owned business. In my career as a business executive, I combine communications, customer service, and common sense to address customer and client challenges for the many businesses and organizations that I own, run, serve and am involved in. I lead the amazing team at Johnson Security Bureau, Inc. where for over 50 years our family has protected valuable people, places and property. At Johnson, highly respected corporations entrust their most valuable assets to me and my team. In the course of our duties, our team builds our people and our communities to be the best they can be.

I am also the co-owner of The Soap Box, a premium laundry services company based in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. At The Soap Box, we view the contributions we make in the lives of our customers as freeing them up to be their best selves and live their best lives.

As a business owner and executive, organizations often invite me to speak to their employees, clients, and key stakeholders about ways they can effectively connect and work with diverse suppliers, how to prioritize equity in their operations, and for my business expertise and guidance. I am a proud advocate for small businesses, especially for women and minority-owned enterprises, and my experience demonstrates that everyone can win when corporations partner with small businesses and local communities to build greater equity and do what’s right.
